The Saturday Dance Program for children ages 7-12 emphasizes technique in ballet, jazz, & tap. Classes are small & are ideal for the serious student. Students are placed by level opposed to grade or age whenever possible & individual programs are designed to meet the needs of students. There are no contracts or recitals. However, students are able to showcase skills at open classes open to the public & at various fund-raisers. Students are also encouraged to audition for Theater/Dance Workshop whenever possible as well. Theater/Dance Workshop, Inc., a non-profit professional performing arts company, affiliated with the school, produces dance & theater productions throughout the year in NJ & NY.
